Release
Release Steps
- Find a datura you like that is available to be claimed.
A datura is available when 1. no previous claims have been made at all, 2. A previous claim by another member has been left incomplete for 1 week, 3. A player forfeits their claim by unclaiming the horse, 4. A previous claim has been rolled by a moderator as a failure.
- Claim the datura by copy/pasting and posting the form below. (Also found in the pinned message in #release)

Items:
- The last successful release is the date you last won a datura only through the release process, other methods of obtaining horses don't apply here.
- There are various items that increase your chances of rolling a successful release. To use them, buy them from the shop (how?) and add them into the item line.
- After making a valid claim, you now have 1 week to draw your claim art. The minimum for claim art is a flat colour headshot.
If at any time you feel you don't connect with the horse you claimed, won't have enough time to finish your claim art, or wish to rescind your claim for any reason at all, you may do so by posting a message after your active claim that states you wish to unclaim. Please note: you cannot claim a different horse for 6 hours after unclaiming.
- Submit your claim art to Deviantart, copy/paste and fill out the form below to the description!

Release FAQ
Q: This is too stressful and frustrating, can you change how this function works?
A: We understand that release is competitive and fast paced, but there are players who love this function and have been obtaining horses this way from day 1. It would be unfair to them to change a part of datura that they love! If release is at all stressful for you, we strongly advise that you try obtaining daturas a different way, such as traps or breeding.
Q: Do I need the items before claiming, or can I edit my claim to include the items before it's rolled?
A: You can edit your claim to add your items before it's rolled, so long as the :dice: react hasn't been added to the claim, as that means it's currently in the process of being rolled.
Q: Does claim art earn embers? Why Not?
A: Claim art does not earn embers, as the potential rewards are greater than the amount of embers that would be earned, and being rewarded for losing a claim takes away the fun of a chance-based function.
Q: What are the difficulties, and what do they mean?
A: Newbie = Easy, Members with no horses only. Willing = Easy. Unwilling = Hard. Unyielding = Very Hard.
Q: What are the success percentages?
A: A secret that is incredibly easy to figure out if you put your mind to it!
Q: Do release items stack?
A: Release items do not stack and can only be used one at a time.
