- You may choose one non-mutation gene (or mutation gene in the case of level 3 traps) to include and one to exclude from the roll, but this isn't mandatory. State these preferences in the notes line.
- Anything other than those two genes will unfortunately not be considered when the horse is designed, please do not add additional wishes or requests as we'd prefer not to be designing something we know the player won't appreciate. We don't choose the genes, the roller does!
- Further specifications on genes are not allowed. For example, you can request appaloosa but you cannot request the type of appaloosa or how many spots it has.
- There are items available that influence the outcome of your roll. Buy them from the shop and add them to the items line when you post your request or we'll assume you aren't using any. See them in items!
- After the request has been posted to the #design channel, we take it from there! Your finished design will be uploaded to Daturaadmin and linked to you in the same thread.
Trap/Customs FAQ
Q: Why Can't we design our own horses?
A: Short answer, we don't want a design queue or to create a design guide for datura. Not having either gives us a lot of freedom to experiment with designs and create unique characters for the game. In addition, it's an incredible amount of effort to moderate and we're all busy with aspects of the game that we feel are more important than both of those things.
Q: Why don't we have full customs? I have very specific ideas for my characters.
A: This is being discussed and may be implemented at some point in the future.
